SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it can be alarmed with regards to the large amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The company stage developed for intervention activities a large influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
